Xioreli de la Vega, MS, BCBA.

Xioreli de la Vega is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and one of the founders of Evolving Minds Together and Evolving Minds Consulting. Xioreli graduated from Florida International University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She also obtained her Master’s degree in Developmental Disabilities with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Xioreli has dedicated her career to working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She is fully bilingual in both Spanish and English and has worked with clients and families of various ages and backgrounds. She has not only provided in home therapy but was also, for many years, a core member in an Early Intervention Program for children in the spectrum. After many years of experience, she finally decided to take a step beyond and create a company that dedicates itself to provide individualized treatment of Applied Behavioral Analysis to children and their families. She strongly believes that with passion, dedication and the right treatment every child can reach their highest potential and build a brighter future.

Maria Patricia Caruso, MS, BCBA RMHI

Maria Patricia Caruso is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and one of the founder of Evolving Minds Together and Evolving Minds Counseling. Maria Patricia’s graduated from the University of Miami where she attained a double bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology. She also obtained her Master degree from Nova Southeastern University as a Mental Health Counselor with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Maria Patricia’s journey begins while working with the department of juvenile Justice where she has the opportunity to offer counseling and ABA services to adolescent and their families. As her passion for the field growth, she had the opportunity to work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. It was her everyday experiences and passion for the field that brought her to take a step beyond and become an extra support for the families and their kids by developing a company which mission is to combine passion and dedication with an individualized treatment in order to build brighter future. Maria Patricia is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and had the opportunity to travel to different countries in Latin America to provide Applied Behavioral services to children and their families.

Laura Torres, MS, BA

Laura graduated from the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She also obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University and is currently accruing supervised field work hours towards a BCBA certification. She’s a behavioral assistant with experience working with children who are diagnosed with ASD providing direct behavioral therapy both at school and at home settings. She also has experience working with individuals who are pre- and nonverbal, while managing maladaptive behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors, and teaching them to develop strong social skills. Laura is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is devoted to working with children of all ages and many levels of ability, alongside their family, to achieve their maximum potential.

Renee Vassell, BA

Renee Vassell received her M.A. double Major in Mental Health Counseling and Applied Behavioral Analysis at Nova Southeastern University, June 2017. She is currently working on achieving the necessary components and requirements in order to obtain her BCBA licensure. Renee has been working with children with Autism, Mental Disability and Developmental Delay for over 8 years. Renee has experience working in settings such as, in home, summer camp, school and private center. Her experience working with children with Autism ages ranges from 2-11 years old. Renee feels passionate about ABA and aiding each child to become his/her best and serving as a mentor and an advocate for the children and their families. She is delighted to be a part of the Evolving Minds Together team, and is thrilled on making a difference in each child she works with life.

Nikkie Hyde, BA

Nikkie found her passion in working with children of various exceptionalities through her diverse volunteer work, particularly when she embarked on a mission trip to Mexico. Nikkie earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences from Florida State University, working as a research assistant under prestigious professors studying cognitive development, family relationships, and academic success. She is currently working on her Master’s of Science degree in Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. Nikkie has loved her journey in the field of ABA. Her motivation to help children and their families progress toward their goals drives her to pursue greater knowledge and experience as she works toward her BCBA certification!

Nashmia Khan, BA

Nashmia graduated from Florida Atlantic University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is very passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. Nashmia is currently enrolled in Nova Southeastern University where she is working towards obtaining a Master’s degree in Family Therapy. Within her graduate work, she has had the opportunity to co-facilitate support groups for families with children diagnosed with ASD. Nashmia is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience working with diverse children and families. She is devoted to being a part of your child’s journey towards fulfilling their potential.

Diana Rada, BA

Diana holds the title of B.A. in Clinical Psychology with foundations and training in applied behavior analysis. Currently, she is close to obtain her diploma for the Master’s degree in developmental disabilities at Nova Southeastern University with concentration in ABA as well as Early Intervention, and will soon after pursue the goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is a certified ITDS (Infant-Toddler Development Specialist) and worked with the Early Steps program from the Broward County for 4 years. She has been working in the field of ABA since 2005 and, although autism spectrum disorders have been her main focus, she has experience with typically developing children, as well as various other disabilities, working hand in hand with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other related disciplines. Diana is passionate about ABA and considers it an effective and comprehensive method to approach children with and without disabilities to help them reach their potentialities and bring welfare to them and their families.

Nathalie Toro, BA

Nathalie graduated from Florida International University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Nathalie recently graduated and is working on her RBT certification. Nathalie is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is devoted to working with children of all ages and their families to help them get their highest potential. She has always loved kids and her patience and devotion to them are her strengths. In the future she expects to get a Masters in either Counseling or ABA therapy.

Nicky de la Riva, BA

Nicky followed her passion on Educating and helping kids by Graduating from Rafael Landivar University as a Professor in Early Childhood and Preschool Education, while she was studying she worked for 6 years in a School as an English teacher guiding, teaching and supporting kids. She then followed her path in Education by graduating as a Montessori certified teacher. While Nicky was working as a teacher in Guatemala she collaborated with the literacy coach learning new teaching strategies and tutoring kids of different ages who were struggling communicating, Learning and reaching their goals.

She had the opportunity to work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities by assisting and supporting students as a teacher assistant, what lead her to continue her career and her passion.

Nicky is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and she thinks every kid and person is capable of doing, learning and achieving what they want in life!

Daniela Nuñez

Daniela graduated from Jose Maria Vargas University in Caracas, Venezuela where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Special Education in Intellectual Disabilities. She also obtained her masters degree in Psychotherapy Cognitive Orientation in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She is a highly motivated worker with the ability to adapt to different work environments she has excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills combined with analytical capability to develop all areas of special education and Applied Behavioral Analysis. Daniela is an experienced therapist in the treatment of children and teens with special needs, ADHD and behavioral difficulties.

Daniela has been working with kids and there families for more than 15 years she has been training and studying to increase her knowledge about her work. Now she is preparing to become and RBT and further her education in the ABA field.

Daniela is bilingual in English and Spanish. She loves her job and enjoys working with children.
